More in Common (Batley and Spen) which is part of The Jo Cox Foundation, is holding an event in memory of Jo Cox, the MP who was murdered last year in her constituency.

On Sunday 25 June 2017, there will be two races at Oakwell Hall Country Park in Birstall (Oakwell Hall, Nutter Lane, Birstall, Batley, WF17 9LG) - a 2.5k family fun run and a 6.5k cross-country challenge.  

This event is part of a series of events that More in Common (Batley and Spen) are planning to bring the community closer together and build a legacy in Jo’s memory. 

The day will be kicking off with a performance from Batley Community Choir at 9:00am and we'll have food stalls and live music.  We will also have a ‘bar in the barn’ run by a local independent brewer.
