This is your invite to one of our eight care sector drop-in sessions for GMB members working in the care sector, to be held over four days in March in different locations across the region.
You will have the opportunity to talk to us about the issues you face at work and we will be able to advise you and offer representation where required. You may just want to drop in to meet the team that supports carers in their workplaces or chat with us about the full range of benefits available to you as a GMB member.
We would love the opportunity to speak with you and your colleagues and explore ways we can improve our service and how we communicate with you. We will be joined by colleagues from Sheffield and Bradford University who are undertaking a study on the effects of low pay on care workers who would welcome your views in the hope that together we can push up pay rates. Anything you share with us will be completely confidential but your views on what we can do together to improve living standards will help us plan our next campaign.
