On the 23rd & 24th October, 8000 women will strike in Glasgow over Sex Discrimination/Equal Pay. For over a decade the women of Glasgow have been fighting for Equal Pay.
The current council administration promised to sort out the Equal Pay issue when they were elected, but after months of fruitless negotiations the women have said enough is enough.
This will be an historical event for our striking activists and members in Scotland and it would be great if we could send messages of support from the region.
