Carol Rose - Workplace Rep
Carol Rose is one of our reps working within Southern Cross. She represents members at her home both on workplace issues and health & safety issues.
Asked recently what made her become a rep she said “GMB helps to solve problems for its members at work in many different ways” she went on “I think its important that workers have the back up of a trade union and the legal help they can supply if members need them.”
She believes that the GMB fights for better pay, safer workplaces and urges all the Southern Cross staff to join the GMB.
“The more members we have the bigger voice we have with our employer, I believe that everyone working in Southern Cross should seriously think about joining the GMB.”
