Forthcoming Legislation Control of Noise at Work Regulations
Comes into force 6 April 2008
These regulations came into force generally in 2006, however from April will be broadened to apply to exposure to noise at work in the music and entertainment sectors.

Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act

Comes into force 6 April 2008
The Act that provides for a new offence of corporate manslaughter (corporate homicide in Scotland) where an organisation’s gross negligence has lead to the death of an employee or member of the public.
