Bright, vivacious, courageous, caring: There aren’t enough words to describe Jo Cox MP and GMB member, who was taken from us on Thursday, 16th June. She was killed doing her job, a job she loved, representing the people in the area where she grew up.
She had achieved so much in her short time as an MP and had so much more to give. She was a shining star.
GMB would like to offer our sincerest condolences to Jo’s husband Brendan, her two beautiful children, her family and all her constituents in Batley and Spen on the sad loss of such a wonderful person.
RIP Jo from your GMB family.
