Paul Kenny hits the election trail in Leeds

28 Apr 2010

General secretary, Paul Kenny, hit the election trail in Leeds yesterday, showing his support for James Lewis, candidate for Elmet and Rothwell, in his bid to win the seat for Labour in the forthcoming elections.

Paul’s visit to the region kicked-off with a meeting of the Leeds Labour group and GMB activists in Leeds Civic Hall.

He then travelled across the City to join in with a team of volunteers who were canvassing in the Rothwell area.

Finally, Paul addressed an election rally at the King Edward WMC in Allerton Bywater where he was joined by Tim Roache, regional secretary, Colin Burgon and James Lewis in a question an answer session from the floor.
