CALLING ALL LOCAL GOVERNMENT WORKERS…
Have your say on pay!

GMB members in local government are being balloted on the latest/final pay offer by the Local Authority Employers for 2008/09 pay increase.

With the offer of 2.45% falling way short of a decent offer GMB is asking members for their views.

‘Have your say on pay’ consultation meetings are being carried out across the region.  Here are some scheduled in your areas:

• Barnsley Council – 14th May at 4.30pm (Barnsley Library)
• Chesterfield Council – 14th May at 7.00pm (Winding Wheel)
• Leeds City Council – 19th May at 7.00pm (Leeds Town Hall)
• Sheffield City Council – 19th May at 7.00pm (St Mary’s Hall, Bramall Lane)
