Please Support GMB Victims of Racial Bullying - Participate on the 2nd May Day of Action – Doncaster & Normanton

GMB members who work for private contractor Carillion at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon went on strike earlier this year over allegations of serious bullying.  The dispute continues and the GMB intends to organise protest demonstrations all across the UK at Carillion offices in support of the GMB members at Swindon.

The GMB is amazed that Carillion has not been able to resolve the allegations of bullying and harassment which was first brought to their attention some five months ago. There have been allegations that the Carillion HR Director, Liz Keates, who is involved in the Swindon dispute, managed the relationship for Carillion with the Consulting Organisation that led to the blacklisting of 3,200 construction workers for trade union activities.

On Wednesday, 2nd May 2012, we will be organising protest demonstrations at Carillion offices in Normanton and Doncaster simultaneously between 10am and 12.30pm.
