This toolkit is for GMB reps to take up issues around PPE in their workplace. It will also help GMB members stand up for their right to work safely.
The lack of PPE for frontline workers during the Coronavirus is a national scandal. We will continue to work tirelessly at all levels to get you the protection you need to be safe at work.
We will not stop until GMB members are kitted out with what you need to work safely.
We need you to help us help you. Use this toolkit to arm yourself with what you need to make your employer do the right thing:
• Watch our PPE video (and share it with your colleagues)
• Use our checklists to make sure your employer is doing what they should be
• Record it and tell us about it if your employer isn’t doing the right thing
• Insist that you are given the right kit – and submit a grievance if you aren’t
GMB is with you every step of the way – stand up and demand the right to the PPE that you need.
