GMB activists and staff joined with hundreds of other protestors, which included medical staff, other trade unions and members of the public when they marched through the centre of Leeds in protest against NHS reforms and funding changes. 

At a rally outside of Leeds Art Gallery, GMB’s Sarah Young from Sheffield Children’s Hospital, addressed the crowd, saying: “Our NHS is on ICU and unless we begin to nurse it back to life it will die.”
