A social evening, sponsored by B05, C41 and R50 Branches, has been organised for GMB members.

On: Tuesday 20 October 2015

Time: 7.30pm

Venue: AAKASH Restaurant, Bradford Road, Cleckheaton, BD19 3PN

Cost:  £5 per head for a 3 course meal (subsidised from the normal price of £16.00)

The evening will include the attendance of various speakers including local MP’s, District Councillors and candidates for the 2016 local elections as well as Tim Roache, GMB Regional Secretary.

This will be a great opportunity to meet union colleagues from around the region to discuss and hear about the current political climate.

We would also like to ask that members who attend bring along a small donation of non-perishable goods for the Batley Food Bank.  As you will be aware, sadly the number of people using food banks is on the increase thanks to the Government’s policies.
